Rage Smashers, the Edmond rage room is proud to announce they have joined the Downtown Edmond Business Association in order to support and learn about other locally-owned small businesses in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Rage Smashers began its life known as Rage405, but in July of 2022, Todd and Sherra Temaat bought the company and renamed the smash and break room facility to Rage Smashers. The company is proud to be a part of the Edmond and Oklahoma City communities and wants to show that pride to every client or potential client they come into contact with.
Rage Smashers the only rage room entertainment venue in the Oklahoma City area that is open six days a week and accepts same day appointments. The company is locally owned and operated by Todd Temaat, a 21-year Air Force veteran that served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. When asked why he buy the company, Mr. Temaat said, “life is stressful today…we have a number of friends and family members that struggle finding ways to productively deal with that stress. So when we learned that the previous owners were interested in selling the rage room, we immediately started thinking of all the ways we could help bring some relief to all the Oklahomans feeling those same feelings.”
According to Temaat, “Our goal is for every visitor to not only have a good time smashing stuff in a judgement free, safe environment, but to find a kind of stress relief they’ve never felt before. There is something very primal about putting a sledge hammer to a piece of furniture or a car that can give you a release that nothing no other therapy can.”
Rage Smashers prides itself on being able to serve customers with same and next day appointments. Mr. Temaat said, “many of our customers tell us they enjoy being able to schedule a same day appointment and being able to schedule events on days when the area’s only other rage room is closed.” The company has rage room sessions that can accommodate anywhere from a single person up to groups of 12 with session lengths of 10 to 60 minutes. Participants get to break everything from glass bottles, household appliances and furniture, car windshields, and even complete cars.
